Tunisia coach Nabil Maaloul has warned his team's players to beware the performance of Egypt national team's frontline ahead of the two sides' game in the first round of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers Sunday.
"Tunisia players are ready to face Egypt, as well as playing in front of our supporters will give the team a positive motivation to score," Maaloul was quoted as saying in the Tunisian newspaper Assabah.
"I warned the players not hurry to score or forget the defence, as they will face a well organised team," he said.
"I warned them also of Egypt's counter attack as their tactics depend to Mohamed Salah's pace and Ramadan Sobhi's tricks," the Tunisian coach said.
The North African rivals Egypt and Tunisia will start their AFCON 2019 qualifiers campaign Sunday at Rades Stadium where the result could prove vital in the race to finish on top of Group J and earn direct qualification for the Nations Cup in Cameroon.
The group champions will make it to the tournament stage in Cameroon in January 2019, along with the three best teams from among those taking second place in the group stage.
