Brother of Egyptian actor Ahmad Azmi was found murdered in his apartment in Al Jeezah area in Cairo. Close family members stated that Ahmad’s brother, Hamdi, was holding a social gathering with a number of friends in his apartment and later on in the evening he was found murdered. It is said that investigations are still going to find out the perpetrator and the cause.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Hamdi’s body is currently in a morgue until the case of his murder is closed. It was said that Hamdi’s neighbors had heard loud screams and commotion and had immediately called his father, who upon arriving to the apartment discovered his son murdered.
Ahmad was in shock after being informed of his brother’s death and at the time was filming his scenes for his television drama “Dawaran Shubra”.
Close contacts to Ahmad stated that the actor is in a hysterical state and is currently by the side of his mother waiting news of the forensic reports to determine the date for burial and holding the funeral.
