Jordanian artist Amer Al Khafash denied circulating rumors that he is partially paralyzed and cannot walk, and intends to resign from his career as an artist. Amer said that he is only suffering from temporary nerve complications in his feet, and he requires a wheelchair for a short time.

According to the internet website MBC.net, Amer stressed that specialized physicians have assured him that with the proper treatment he will be able to walk again with no problem.

Amer is a director and artist at the Bahrain National Television channel.  He has also appeared in several musical productions.

Two months ago, Amer underwent a surgery in his spinal cord after suffering from major back pain. Rumors claim that a doctor’s mistake during the surgery led to his partial paralysis.

Amer stressed that his current condition is not a result of a medical mistake, but rather due to complications in his nervous system’s healing process, which is common in most spinal cord surgeries.

Amer said that he has no intention of resigning and he is only taking some time off to regain his strength physically and mentally.
