Egyptian singer Amro Diab has ended his mourning over his mother, who passed away in the middle of March, by taking on the sport of playing squash on a regular basis. Amro had posted a photo on his official page on the internet social network Twitter of him heading to one of the gyms in Cairo wearing a training suit to play squash.
Along with the photo, Amro wrote, “I am heading to the gym to play squash.”
The photo is the first appearance by Amro since the death of his mother. Amro had resumed his singing career on April 11 and started work on his upcoming album.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Amro is scheduled to hold a grand performance at the American University Carnival on May 11 in Cairo. He is expected to present a collection of his new and old hits.
The administrators of his page on Twitter announced that there will 5 tickets granted for free to winners of a quiz to be launched on the page.
