After the refusal of numerous satellite television to buy the exclusive rights to air the drama “Hikayat Bayn Al Sutoor” (Stories between the lines), the makers of the drama decided to temporarily halt filming the remaining scenes.
The Egyptian National television station joined the many channels that refused to buy the drama due to the mere fact that most channels are going through financial crises after the January 25 Revolution, which overthrew the regime of Egyptian former President Husni Mubarak.
The drama was to be filmed during the month of April to have it ready for airing during the Ramadan season. The drama will remain at a standstill until a channel buys it.
