Man blackmailing Wafa Amer arrested

Egyptian police officials have arrested two men for making death threats to a number of stars and attempting to blackmail them.

 

The two men had sent death threat messages to Egyptian actress Wafa, Hilmi Bakr and Ahmad Al Dasuqi, who is general manager of the production company ‘Good News’, to their cellular phones demanding they pay an amount between 1000 and 5000 US dollars in the fastest time possible. The person also stated that they must not notify the police or their lives will be in jeopardy.

 

The two men arrested are Mahmoud Mustafa, who is thirty years old and a singer, and his brother Mohammad, who is 23 years old and a student. The two men were tracked down through the SMS messages they made and were brought in for investigation.
