Lebanese singer Mariam Fares has filmed a music video for the song “Al Masri Bu Dam Hami” (Hot blooded Egyptian) in Cairo, where she is currently staying. Carol is also filming scenes for her upcoming television drama “Al Shahroorah”, which tackles the life of Lebanese diva Sabah. The title of the drama is Sabah’s known nickname in the entertainment world.
According to the London based Elaph, the clip was directed by Shadi Ali.
The song was written by Ayman Bahgat Qamar and produced by ‘Cedar Art Production.’ The song is Carol’s special dedication to the Egyptian people for their brave stance during the 25 January revolution that overthrew the government of former President Husni Mubarak.
