Egyptian singer Midhat Saleh has admitted that he had been walking in the wrong path and is currently trying to overcome his mistakes by becoming closer to God and asking for forgiveness.
Midhat revealed that the Egyptian January 25 Revolution that overthrew the government of ousted President Husni Mubarak was behind him becoming more religious and wanting to get closer to God. Midhat said that in the past he had committed many wrongful deeds and was not in any way religious, but now all that has change and he is putting his life back together and trying to make a better person of himself.
The singer refused to go into details about his past and the many women he had known not wanting to remember anything he did reported the internet website MBC.net. Midhat said he had supported the Egyptian revolution and dedicated a song to all the protesters in Egypt’s Tahrir Square titled “Ghadab Al Malayeen” (Anger of millions). The song expressed the feelings of the Egyptian people at that time.
