Egyptian actor Shareef Muneer stated that he considers Lebanese singer Mariam Fares to be the best Lebanese singer. He added that Mariam’s singing talent exceeds all other singers and he is one of her biggest fans.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Shareef denied rumors in the press that Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi refused to take a picture with him at a recent social event. He said that the incident was a misunderstanding and Haifa had apologized to him.
Shareef stated that during the event, a photographer had informed him that Haifa wanted to have her picture taken with him and when he went to Haifa’s table she told him to return to his table because the host of the event was talking on stage. At that point Shareef got very offended and walked off to be later followed by Haifa and was informed that a misunderstanding had occurred and she wished he would accept her apology.
