On the international day for giving aid to cancer patients, Egyptian singer Tamer Husni and Tunisian actress Durah visited cancer patients at the National College for Tumors. During their visits, the two stars sang, played, colored and brought smiles to cancer children.
Tamer was overwhelmed with the reaction of the children at his visit and felt it an honor to be able to place a smile on a child’s face. The visit comes as the singer’s attempts to take part in charitable events and help in making a difference.
On a different note, Tamer is preparing take part in his first television drama titled “Ibin Al Balad” (Homeboy). The drama is scheduled to be aired during the Ramadan season 2011 and Tamer has nominated his friend director Mohammad Sami to direct it. Durah was also nominated to star in the drama alongside Tamer.
