Viva wins 2011 Best Strategic Telecommunication Portal Award

Kuwait Telecommunications Company VIVA, celebrated further victory for the 2011 year when this year’s Pan Arab Web Awards Academy announced VIVA, as the web winner for; Best Strategic Telecommunication Portal, the portal is evaluated based on concept and creativity, technical ease of use and navigation, content and structure, visual design solution and aesthetics as well as interactivity.

Commenting on this recent success, VIVA, CEO Salman Al-Badran stated, “Recognition in this high-level standard category demonstrates the company’s continual determination, to offer the most efficient and leading designs in the development of our future innovations.”

The company was awarded the 2011 ‘Best Strategic Telecommunication Portal’ Award by the Pan Arab Web Awards Academy during the awards ceremony, which took place at the Phoenicia Intercontinental Hotel in Beirut, Lebanon on Tuesday, June 7, 2011.

The Pan Arab Web Awards is considered by the industry as one of the top award programs in the Arab region, as it aims to inspire and reward web creators to meet professional and international standards. Arab countries participate to compete and showcase creativity for the best website in the Pan Arab region, and are judged by a Jury Committee of Arab and regional design and technical professionals.
