Air Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE)' low-cost national airline reported that its first promotional offer flew 4,000 passengers on 55 return flights between the November 1 to 22, 2003.
“We are pleased with the outcome of Air Arabia's first promotion for one-way tickets from Sharjah to any of our destinations,' said Air Arabia's CEO, Adel Ali. “Our aim was to grant customers the opportunity to travel more frequently during the Holy Month of Ramadan to friends and family with these promotional fares,” he said.
The promotional offer was a success across all of Air Arabia's destinations, particularly on flight routes to Bahrain and Syria, which proved to be the most popular. Furthermore, internet bookings during the special offer period were estimated at approximately 25 percent of all ticket sales. — (menareport.com)
