Works on Abu Dhabi Island is taking shape, according to Aldar's chairman Ahmad Al Sayegh. The company on Saturday announced that it had awarded a dredging and related marine works contract in Abu Dhabi to Boskalis Westminster Middle East in the first stage of the development of a waterfront resort and residential complex.
Dredging, designed by Cansult Limited, has already started and will be completed in the second quarter of 2006.
