The Amman International Summer Festival for Shopping 2018, scheduled to begin next Thursday, will witness the participation of 60 local, Arab, and foreign companies, according to organisers.
The 10-day event, organized by the International Promoters Company (IPCO), will bring together companies from Palestine, Egypt, Syria, and Pakistan, along with their local counterparts.
The festival, which opens at 4pm until 12 midnight at the Expo Land near airport road, will include exhibits of food, plastics, chemical commodities, crafts, and accessories.
In press remarks, Raed Abu Saadeh, IPCO General Manager, said the festival, held for the 17th consecutive time, is one of the most prominent in the Kingdom because of its economical, trade, and promotional importance, adding "it is a place for Jordanian families and visitors to gather".

Entry to the festival will be free of charge, gifts will be distributed, competitions will be held, and kids will get presents, Abu Saadeh announced.
The festival gives Jordan's guests, expats, and residents a chance to become acquainted with the development of local products and their high competitiveness, he pointed out.
