ALBAWABA – Apple has officially announced its upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference, WWDC event, with invitations sent to select developers for Monday, 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET) June 10 at Apple Park, with the Apple logo and “WWDC24” labeling inside an array of colorful circles.

While the tech giant has not revealed much detail on what to expect from the event, MacRumors notes that Apple is expected to unveil upcoming updates for its tvOS, watchOS, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and visionOS, along with novel assets that will give Apple developers further advances.

Following the recent Artificial Intelligence trends in the tech world, Apple is believed to uncover what it has been working on to catch up for the race, with a potential look at what to expect from iOS 18 with AI capabilities, with Bloomberg noting that Apple may integrate AI into email, emoji, messaging, and picture editing as well as more Siri functions.

The next release of the iPhone operating system is thought to be “relatively groundbreaking,” according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who added that it could be Apple’s “biggest” upgrade to the iPhone so far, with Apple’s CEO Tim Cook stating in February that the tech giant is spending "tremendous amount of time and effort" on artificial intelligence and would reveal its results "later this year."

The keynote event can be watched live on June 10 from YouTube, the Apple TV app, the Apple Developer App, and the Apple website.
