Claims that no houses will be razed to make way for a new highway were dismissed by a senior government official on Wednesday, the GDN reported.
Bahrain's Municipalities and Agriculture Ministry Assistant Under-Secretary for Planning and Urban Development, Faeq Mandeel, said some properties might have to be bulldozed to clear space for the highway, which will connect to the new BD1 billion Northern Town.
