Dubai-based Coral International, the world's first alcohol-free hotel management company, is planning to invest more than Dh500 million in three hotels. Two of these are in the design stage, to be built in Ras Al Khaimah, while the third involves expansion of the Coral Beach Hotel in Sharjah, Gulf News reported.

Construction of the resorts, one with 220 rooms and the other a desert conservation resort with 120 rooms, are set to start in six months and open in 2007.

Coral has also acquired two buildings in Beirut for Dh183 million that will be converted into two hotels, included in the 25 projects, the report said.
