Edara, one of Dubai’s most successful Project Management companies, has been given the responsibility of being project managers for MotorCity.
The 30,000,000 square foot MotorCity project, which is also under the Union Properties umbrella, will be a one-of-a-kind development featuring motor-related corporate, retail, residential and entertainment options under one expansive roof.
Edara will be responsible for developing 3 large components of the project estimated at AED 4 billion and due to be completed by 2009 - UPTOWN MotorCity, Green Community MotorCity and the Auto Mall. UPTOWN MotorCity, located on 96 hectares, will include apartments and residential units. It represents a new paradigm for living inspired by classical and contemporary theories in the urban planning of Bath, England. The apartments are divided into three distinctive building types; the low-rise terrace apartments, the northern gates apartments and the terrace towers. Green Community MotorCity is an extension of the highly successful Green Community Project and will occupy 57 hectares with villas and terrace apartments. The retail space will also feature a hotel and the office building.
