Dubai is set for an ultra-healthy increase of nearly 40 percent in all forms of exhibitions in 2003 compared to last year. This was recently revealed by President of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), Obaid Al-Tayer, as he opened Pro Audio Light Middle East (PALME), organized by IIR Exhibitions.
More than 70 exhibitors from 16 countries are at PALME and over 60 products are being launched in the Middle East at the three-day event. Outlining the Dubai growth in exhibitions, Al-Tayer said 69 shows covering a broad spectrum of industries are scheduled for Dubai this year compared to 49 in 2002 and 39 in 2001. — (menareport.com)
