The results of the Dubai in World Competitiveness report 2005 were published in Emirates Today. This report, published jointly by the Dubai Department of Economic Development (DDED) and the Switzerland-based International Institute for Management Development (IMD) analyzed Dubai’s competitiveness against 51 national and 9 regional economies.
Dubai ranked 17th. IMD said that 70% of the report is based on hard data while the remaining 30% of the report was based on interviews with CEOs of Dubai-based businesses.
