The Chief Statistics Bureau reported that the value of Egyptian foreign exchanges hit 60.8 billion Egyptian Pounds ($13 billion) in the first 11 months of 2001, of which EP 14.9 billion were in exports and EP 45.9 billion were in imports, reported Al-Ahram.
