The opening of DSF 2005 saw the launch of the second EMAAR International Art Symposium, which is the biggest gathering of artists from all over the world. Over 400 artists had shown an interest in participating in this event and EMAAR has selected 70.
EMAAR has announced fabulous prizes for the best three sculptures, which will be decided by a jury of famous international artists and art experts. The first prize is Dhs 25,000, while the second and third prize winners will be awarded Dhs 20,000 and Dhs 15,000 respectively.
