The emirate of Ras Al Khaimah has been regarded as the fastest worldwide in settling commercial lawsuits, according to an International Bank.
The emirate has also secured a number of advanced positions, mainly in business flexibility, as per the bank's comparative report on local economies that was issued on Wednesday (April 3).
A maximum of 160 days were needed to settle commercial cases. This gives the judicial system in the emirate, the upper hand against Singapore which is currently on the top, globally, with a 164 days needed to settle the same kind of cases.
The breakthrough is in line with the UAE's national agenda and Ras Al Khaima's strategic vision in view of the prudent directives of the His Highness Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqar Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, who is also the Chairman of the Judicial Council in the emirate, spares no effort to boost the performance of the judicial system, guarantee justice, protect rights, and enhance the climate of investment.
