Dubai's Emirates Airline has introduced special fares to make flying with a large family more affordable. The first and business class family travel bargains are on offer on routes to the UK, Europe, Far East and Australia. They will stay on sale until the end of July for travel from now until the end of August.
The family promotion cuts 25 percent off the prices of tickets for up to eight family members traveling with the head of the family, who pays full price. A 25 percent reduction is also available on an Economy ticket for a maid traveling with a family group of five or more.
“The annual holiday is a high point of the year, and a priority for families across the United Arab Emirates (UAE), but the cost of buying tickets for Dad, Mum, three kids, sisters and brothers and a grandparent can cast a cloud over what should be a joyous celebration of family life,” said Hamad Obaidallah, Emirates' General Manager Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) , Yemen and Iran.
Routes from Dubai on offer include, in UK to London, Birmingham and Manchester; in Europe, to Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Rome, Milan and Zurich; in the Far East, to Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong; and in Australia, to Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, Emirates' newest Australian destination, from August 2, 2002. — (menareport.com)
