Fastlink's technology road show visits Queen Alia College

Amman’s Queen Alia College for women recently hosted Fastlink’s technology road show, Unilink, now entering its second year of touring universities and colleges of higher education, aiming to raise awareness of the latest data and mobile Internet technologies.  

 

The road show features hands-on learning tools and demo stations showcasing the possibilities of WAP and GPRS technologies, a photo gallery and prototypes portraying the evolution of the cellular technology. 

 

The open week ended with a workshop entitled IT & The Age of the New Economy: Challenges & Opportunities presented by Fastlink’s Data Supervisor Ra’ad Zawaydeh, dealing with the concepts that underlie SMS, WAP, GPRS, 2.5G and 3G technologies of mobile telecommunications — (menareport.com)
