The first dedicated Information Technology (IT) Forum to be staged alongside Arabian Travel Market, the Middle East's travel and tourism show, opens May 6 at the Dusit Dubai Hotel. The one-day Forum, aimed at addressing the increasing IT needs of the travel industry, has been organized by ITP events and is held with the support of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Government of Dubai.

Topics to come under the Forum spotlight include: leveraging technology for product and commercial opportunity and innovation through e-commerce. The Forum comes a day before the official opening of Arabian Travel Market 2002, which will be held at the Airport Expo Dubai from May 7-10, 2002. Exhibitors from 56 countries are due to take part in the show, which is organized by Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE). — (menareport.com)
