Real estate markets in the Gulf region registered during the month of Ramadan a recession in sales, especially of lands, reported the Emirate newspaper Al-Bayan on November 10.
The real estate market, like the other sectors, was affected also by the stock exchange markets, which reflected stability during the month of Ramadan, and some of them even posted record rises.
The prices of real estate assets in the Gulf region were not negatively affected by this recession and retained its pre-Ramadan prices in all the markets of the region.
The active movement is expected to return to the real estate markets in the next period, especially since the region prepares for accepting delegations and visitors from abroad, due to the planned exhibitions and festivals in this period.
