Some 40 angry families stormed into the Muharraq Municipal Council meeting Monday to protest against delays in the renovation of their houses. According to the GDN, the families, who are all from Muharraq, have applied to be part of a nationwide plan to raze and rebuild 6,000 dilapidated homes across the kingdom.
