The Swedish company's UAE branch uncovered a new tiny bed a few days ago; however, it added that it is especially crafted for people's smartphones, leaving people confused, questioning, "Why would phones need a bed?"
The tiny bed is part of the company's Phone Sleep Collection and includes wood slats, bedding, and an embedded NFC chip, outlets reported.

The new smart bed is aimed at getting customers to actually log off before sleeping.
The company mentioned that the new phone beds are connected to the IKEA app, to check how many hours a person can avoid night mobile use.
Not only that, people could earn money as IKEA UAE said that if a person spends seven hours away from their smartphones for seven nights in a row, they get a 100 AED voucher (about $27).
