Iran's customs administration reported Saturday that over $62.4 million of agricultural products were exported in the Iranian month of Farvardin (March 20-April 19).
It said the exports were 4.6 percent and 38.3 percent higher in terms of weight and value, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
The value of agricultural exports were 20.3 percent of the total non-oil exports in the period, the report said.
The major items exported were pistachios with a value of $30.8 million, saffron with $4.9 million, pickled-hide $3.8 million, raisin $3.7 million and caviar $2.4 million.
