According to Alahli, Hadi Essa, the telecom department manger in Theckar area, announced that the department had completed all preparations for the installation of modern switching boards with a total capacity of 20,000 lines in order to cover the areas of Souk Alsheyock and Aljababish.
Another switching board with a capacity of 6,000 lines for the other side of Al Naseriyah is directed to meet the demands of Al Mansoriya, Al Thawara, Al Iskan and Al Sinai quarters.
He added that the department had resumed in these areas the services of more than 2,000 lines that were damaged.
