Iraq university service law adjusted

According to <i>Al-Ahli</i>, Iraqi High Education and Scientific Research minister Dr. Albakaa announced that the Iraqi government agreed to the adjustment of the university service law so it can be just and fair to university instructors.


One of the items that such adjustments include is the addition of special allowances which can reach 100 percent of the salary. This will be depended on the instructor’s qualifications and seniority.
The minister confirmed that this latest decision is considered to be a unique transition for the education sector, especially as it came in a framework of decisions passed by the Iraqi cabinet to support and promote the level of education in Iraq.
