The Israeli government decided last week to transfer of the Companies Authority and the Civil Service Commission from the Prime Minister's Office to the Ministry of Finance, and the Economic-Social Cabinet and the Inter-ministerial Committee for Privatization from the Prime Minister to the Minister of Finance.
The Israeli government approved the transfer of authority and spheres of activity of the Government Companies Authority and the Civil Service Commission from the Prime Minister's Office to the Ministry of Finance.
In addition, the Israeli government also approved the transfer of the chair of the inter-ministerial committee for social and economic matters (Economic-Social Cabinet) and the chair of the inter-ministerial committee for privatization from the Prime Minister to the Minister of Finance.
The Israeli government further resolved that decisions of the inter-ministerial committee for economic issues, are made on behalf of the government and these decisions will be legal as government decisions, unless the Israeli prime minister alone expresses reservations within two weeks. — (menareport.com)
