Official statistics released by the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Commerce show that the value of Jordanian exports to the European markets hit 50 million Jordanian Dinars ($70 million) in 2001, up from JD 35.5 million in 2000, a 40.8 percent climb, reported Al-Rai.
