ALBAWABA - A new humanoid robot called "Moya" has sparked wide interaction on social media after videos surfaced showing its ability to walk, make eye contact, and display remarkably human-like facial expressions.

The Chinese robotics company "DroidUp" unveiled Moya at an official presentation in Shanghai, stressing that it is the world's first robot fully powered by "embodied AI" technology.

This technology allows the robot to perceive, think, and interact within the real world, like a real person.

The robot was seen smiling, nodding its head, maintaining eye contact, and walking with a gait remarkably close to natural human movement, according to videos shared by the South China Morning Post.

The developer asserts that "Moya" is capable of mimicking subtle facial expressions, making it one of the most human-like robots in the world today.

It has taken over 130,000 steps on ice in freezing temperatures as low as -47.4 degrees Celsius and even successfully traced the Winter Olympics logo on the ice surface.
