The International Metropolitan Palace Hotels Group opened its first hotel in Lebanon last week, located in the eastern Sin Al-Fil suburb of Beirut, reported Al-Hayat. The 21-floor facility consists of 225 rooms, 12 suites, a residential floor and a businessmen floor.
Al-Habtur director general, Muhamad Al-Habtur, estimated the total costs of this five-star hotel at $105 million, having taken 18 months to construct. The UAE-based group’s owns several hotels as well as construction and real estate projects.
The Metropolitan Palace Group intends to launch another two projects in Lebanon, one of which is a hotel. — (Mena Report)
