Nissan Middle East and Arabian Automobiles Company (AAC) – Nissan’s distributor in Dubai and Northern Emirates – announced their sponsorship of the World Endurance Championship to start in Dubai on January 27th, as “The Official Car” of the prestigious race.
The sponsorship of this world-class race will be through providing Nissan Patrols onsite and for the officials. Takeshi Nakajima, Regional Director at Nissan Middle East said: “We are pleased to be part of this race. Endurance is a trait of Arabian Horses as well as our famous Nissan Patrol known as King of all terrain. No car fits well like Patrol in such areas”.
Michel I. Ayat, General Manager of Arabian Automobiles Company added: "Nissan Patrol, for more than five decades now, has symbolized the region's heritage and lifestyle and in fact adding to its extraordinary off-road capability, the new 2005 Year model is also a personification of luxury.
The race, with participants from all corners of the globe, begins on January 27, 2005.
