Nokia is coming with a bang thanks to its upcoming Nokia 8, which going by rumors and leaks might be quite an impressive phone.

According to VentureBeat, the Nokia 8 will be running Android Nougat, and will have a 5.3 inch display with 2.5D curved glass front. It looks like it has almost no bezels, and also a new Carl Zeiss dual lens camera at the back. This is probably the result of the new partnership between the two companies.

We might see the phone being announced at the end of this month, and could debut for $675.

Pekka Rantala, CMO of HMD told us that it aims to “provide a better imaging experience”, though we’ll have to try the Nokia 8 ourselves to see if it’s able to do just that.

Since there is time for the phone to launch, and the Nokia 3, 5 and 6 also coming out, one would expect design updates. However, it looks like the Nokia 8 does seem to lack a certain flair for design.

In terms of specs, you can expect 2K resolution, Snapdragon 835 and 4/6GB RAM configurations check all the boxes, regardless of whether you’re a casual or hardcore user.
