Abu-Ghazaleh Receives President of the Jordanian Senate, HE Mr. Faisal Al Fayez

HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), received in his office the President of the Jordanian Senate HE Mr. Faisal Al Fayez on a friendly visit to check on the health of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, as well as to discuss the financial and economic conditions in the country. The two parties also reviewed potential means for strengthening the economic process to overcome the great challenges this country-Jordan is experiencing.

During the meeting, Al Fayez and Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh reviewed the enormous economic potential that the private sector could offer by way of supporting the country’s economic development. As an example Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh has established as part of TAG.Global, a specialized institution, the ‘Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Foundation’ which is totally dedicated to to social responsibility and community services’ programs. Part of its activities are hundreds of  knowledge stations spread throughout the Kingdom providing free technological services to the public as well as comprehensive training on the internet techniques and usage for all citizens without any exception.

Moreover, the two parties agreed on pursuing consultations in order to explore all possible means of strengthening the relationship between the public and private sectors, and for his part, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh will prepare a report that includes new ideas and proposals to be submitted to the Senate President  on the basis of what has been already discussed.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh had the honor of serving as a member of the Senate for two consecutive terms.
