In effort towards providing more opportunities for outstanding students in the Kingdom of Bahrain, AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation announced, for the third year in a row, the commencement of the online registration phase for Her Highness Shaikha Moza bint Hamad AlKhalifa Grant for the undergraduate medicine programme, which is offered in collaboration with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland–Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain). Registration will run from 30/6/2019 until 13/7/2019 via the Foundation’s website.

Her Highness’s Scholarship will cover all tuition expenses for the undergraduate medicine programme at RCSI Bahrain, including the set of benefits offered under “Rayaat” Scholarship Program. A specified criteria of terms and standards will be applied in shortlisting candidates, namely, the applicant must be a Bahraini national, a fresh graduate, with a GPA of 98% or higher in the General Secondary Education in the scientific track. Acceptance is also subject to obtaining admission at RCSI Bahrain. Students must also apply via both AlMabarrah AlKhalifia and the RSCI Bahrain’s websites. Students will be shortlisted after successfully completing the application form on AlMabarrah AlKhalifia’s website, as well as fulfilling the specified terms and standards which include academic performance indicators, personal interview, and volunteer work.

It is worth mentioning that “Rayaat” Program, launched back in 2011, is a comprehensive program enabling students to join one of the accredited universities in Bahrain, in addition to offering financial incentives, and other curricula enriching activities such as workshops and training opportunities in both the public and private sectors, dedicated to promoting social responsibility and youth volunteering, within a supportive environment.
