Regional conference on sustainable transport policies to be held at AUB on May 21

The Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs at AUB will be holding an all-day regional conference entitled, “Building the Case for Sustainable Transportation in the Arab World,” on May 21, 2014 at the IFI Auditorium (Green Oval). 

 

This regional conference will shed light on sustainable transportation policies in the Arab world; and the resulting economic, environmental, and health impacts of shifting towards more sustainable transport systems.

The program includes presentations from IFI-funded research studies as well as the work of researchers from the UK, UAE, Egypt, Qatar, and Lebanon.
