Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF) is showcasing its portfolio of smart online services that improve the efficiency of its interaction with the public at GITEX Technology Week 2017.

AMAF’s participation in the global tech event that runs at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 8 to 12 reflects the Foundation’s continued endeavors to save its customers time and effort.

In line with its smart transformation and customer happiness strategy, AMAF unveiled a host of new smart services for tenants of endowment properties under its management. These include rental renewal applications, facilities maintenance, bounced rental cheque replacement, issuance of no-objection letters, and lease contract termination. 

During the definitive tech exhibition, the Foundation also revealed that it updated minors’ services available through its dedicated smart application. Among the The updates involve are disbursement services, ‘to whom it may concern’ letters, and smart social search for use by the internal social search team.

His Excellency Tayeb Al-Rais, Secretary General of AMAF, said: “The Foundation is committed to supporting our wise leadership’s vision of making Dubai the world’s smartest and happiest city. We are confident our drive to enhance our services through smart platforms will go a long way in contributing to the achievement of this objective.” 

He added: “Available 24/7, AMAF’s smart online services are the most advanced endowment services in the region, since they help improve the financial performance of our endowments through leveraging technological innovation to achieve sustainability.”

The birth of the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF) came with the issue of law No. 6 in 2004 during the era of the late His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum. With the expansion of the institution in its work and functions, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Mak​toum, Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler Dubai issued law No. 9 in 2007 organizing the work of the institution, to ensure the provision of a conducive environment for greater achievements in the development of ‘awqaf’ and minors’ ​funds, and the care of their affairs, according to a well-aimed plan, and a conscious vision and insight.
