Bank Sohar Hosts Vip Social Gathering at Nizwa

In its commitment to its customer-centric strategy, Bank Sohar recently held a social gathering for its VIP retail customers in Nizwa under the patronage of HE Sheikh Rashid bin Said Al Kalbani, Wali of Nizwa with the objective of connecting with its customers to better serve them in the future. The gathering also played host for the bank’s monthly prize draws under the Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme revealing 45 winners with OMR 73k in total.

Representing Bank Sohar and welcoming the guests at the event included Mr. Rajeev Arora, DGM & Head of Retail Banking, Mr. Khamis Al Rahbi, Senior AGM Retail Banking, Mr. Hussein Shalwani, Senior Chief Manager of Relationship Banking, Mr. Redha Al Lawati, Senior Chief Manager of Retail Liabilities and Sales, Mr. Khalfan Al Shukaili, Nizwa branch manager and other members of the banks senior management.

Upon arrival at the venue, guests were welcomed by a traditional music band followed by Omani traditional Halwa and coffee being served to the guests before a welcome note delivered by Mr. Khalfan Al Shukaili, Nizwa Branch Manager. Mr. Redha Al Lawati, Senior Chief Manager of Retail Liabilities and Sales then addressed the guests in a speech highlighting the banks strategy and efforts to deliver positive impact for all its stakeholders, which he followed by a presentation about Bank Sohar’s range of banking solutions.

To enrich the evening’s agenda, the Bank conducted a raffle draw for guests prior to conducting its popular monthly draws under the Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme, identifying a total of 45 lucky winner in the Women’s, Children’s, General, Branches and Exclusive categories. The evening came to a closure by a token of appreciation being presented to HE Sheikh Rashid bin Said Al Kalbani, Wali of Nizwa and a group photo with the attending bank officials.

With the previous monthly draws held in a public gathering during Salalah Tourism Festival, Al Muamayaz Savings Scheme continues to promote a savings culture and reward financial prudence in the society. In its revamped 2018 edition, the scheme has been strategically calibrated to churn out winners daily, monthly, and yearend. Moreover, the scheme has been constructed to ensure all segments of customers get chances to win having dedicated draws for Bank-wide customers, Children, Females, Exclusive, and branches.
