Bupa Arabia hosted second ‘Live Right’ health awareness event in Riyadh

Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance, a pioneer in health insurance and effective public health campaigns, hosted the second “Live Right” health awareness event on August 25-26 in Riyadh’s Al-Fareeda Ballroom. It followed the success of the first event held as part of the “Live Right” campaign in Jeddah in July, which was attended by more than 1,000 attendees.

In the coming weeks, Bupa Arabia will organize more such educational events in various cities of the Kingdom, as part of the health awareness campaign, aiming to promote a healthy lifestyle among the citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia, in line with the goals of Vision 2030.

A number of companies in the Kingdom are directing extensive efforts into launching health awareness campaigns that enable members of society to lead healthier and physically active lives, especially in the backdrop of the global COVID-19 pandemic.

The “Live Right” event was based on five pillars, where each pillar was represented by a designated zone, which hosted various interactive sports, health, and recreational activities for families.

The first zone was the Health Lounge, which included various health checkups such as glucose and blood pressure testing, and consultations with optical, dental, nutritional and other experts.

The second zone was dedicated to physical fitness while the third zone aimed to provide preventive awareness by hosting sessions on a range of topics and educating on different types of diseases and methods of prevention.

Shining a spotlight on mental well-being and mental health was the fourth zone, while the fifth zone was focused on weight management, and aimed to help people transition to a healthier lifestyle in the long term.

Along with the five zones, the event also hosted several workshops presented by consultants and specialists, where they also answered questions from the attendees. Doctors were available on hand to provide general checkups and consultations. The event also included a health lounge area and an entertainment corner for children.
