BurJuman’s visual ode to the country’s future proved to be the centre of attraction during the 41st UAE National Day celebrations at the mall, as visitors posed before an enlarged mosaic of 1000 children dressed in local Emirati attire.

The 7.4 metre x 3 metre installation is an enlarged version of an actual mosaic entitled “Faces of Tomorrow” which will be presented to HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as homage to the country and its leadership’s forward-looking vision.

Different schools as well as young mall visitors came together to create the mosaic style UAE flag visual. The kids aged 5-15 years were of different nationalities representing the diversity, strength and spirit of the UAE.

The photo flag project will remain on display at BurJuman until December 12th to allow the featured participants, their families, as well as the general public the chance to celebrate and capture this unique representation of the UAE’s bright future.
