Recognising the value of developing the world’s young minds in a technology-dependent world, the World Government Summit 2017 has named youth as one of its seven key themes. In line with this, du hosted a youth panel discussion to drive the conversation around youth and innovation. Thomas Suarez, the 17-year-old founder and Chief Engineer of CarrotCorp Inc., and Fatima Al Kaabi, a 14-year-old Emirati girl whose inventions have been making waves in the Middle East joined Dubai TV’s Omar Butti on the panel. The discussion gained insights and perspectives from these two remarkable young people and learned more about how governments around the world can optimise their youth engagement efforts and capitalise on the young, brilliant minds of tomorrow.
