ENOC hosts Ramadan tent for those in need

Underlining its commitment to the community, Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) is organising a series of Iftar gatherings throughout the month of Ramadan to help those in need. Volunteer ENOC employees host the evenings, assisting with the organisation and distributing the food among the guests.

To celebrate these gatherings, an Iftar tent has been set up in Al Aweer in Dubai where around 900 people partake of the Iftar daily, and three Iftar tents have been installed in Fujairah, visited daily by 300 people per tent. Each visitor receives a food box including water, dates, biryani, a utensils set and a pocket prayer mat.

The Iftar tents are part of ENOC’s overall Ramadan campaign, which is rolling out a diverse array of initiatives to promote community wellbeing and support those in need during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Over the years, ENOC has demonstrated outstanding work through its ongoing CSR initiatives and has won the ‘El-Baz Award for Excellence in Organisational Sustainability’, Asia’s top laurel for Best Corporate Social Responsibility Practices at the Asian Leadership Awards; and ‘The Bizz Award’, one of the most prestigious business awards world-wide, for outstanding corporate social responsibility practices.
