Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, a leader in luxury hospitality worldwide, celebrates 25 years of luxury hospitality in the equatorial haven, Singapore, by reinventing its interiors, celebrating the natural, verdant flora that the Island is unmistakeably known for.

A Botanical Refresh

Step into the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore and enter an urban equatorial paradise. Nestled amidst lush foliage on the fringe of one of the world’s largest shopping street, Orchard Road, it also sits a mere five-minutes away from the Singapore Botanic Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a key inspiration for the Hotel’s living spaces, dining and public areas. With the creative direction of celebrity Floral Art Director Nicolai Bergmann since April 2019, guests are greeted fresh florals in the Grand Lobby at arrival for a remarkable start to their stay.

Guest Rooms

Both Guest Room and Luxury Themed Suites were revamped in the last six to twelve months in preparation for the hotel’s Silver Anniversary. Replacing deep, rich palettes are now contemporary interiors that feature a natural colour palette of dusty cool blue tones and lime green accents, inspired by the water and tropical lotus leaves of the Singapore Botanic Garden’s Swan Lake. Each room also features a mural wall composition of traditional Peranakan tiles, adding an artistic touch and reminiscent of Singapore’s rich and multicultural heritage. Peranakan culture represents the union between two or more major ethnicities of the Straits Peninsula - a result of Singapore’s historical significance as a major trading port. Large floor-to-ceiling windows provide sweeping views of the city and surrounding greenery, while white-colonial style doors and windows with plantation shutters, reminiscent of Singapore’s once-agricultural history, allowing for the natural light to brighten the rooms.

Luxury Themed Suites

Comprising four distinctive residences – the Royal Suite, Governor Suite, Ambassador Suite and the Presidential Suite – the quartet of luxury suites unfurl Singapore’s legacy through subtle design motifs, natural textures and serene palettes of subtle sophistication that portrays and acknowledges the Garden City’s dynamic, cosmopolitan storied history.

Relax amidst the tropical splendour of the Royal Suite cloaked in neutrals and verdant green, and dressed in cane, grass-cloth and linen complete with local palm, fruit and animal motifs in artworks and accessories, or in the warm, wood-inspired glow of the Governor Suite. Imbibe the heritage and cultural rich tapestry evident in the elegant Ambassador Suite and the stately Presidential Suite, inspired by colonial Singapore when black and white photographs were de rigueur, complete with a breath-taking view of the Orchard Boulevard from the 19th floor.

Restaurants and Bar

The passion for a nature-enlivened, tropical ambience continues from the Rooms and Suites to the restaurants and bar at the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore.

Relaunched in March 2019 after a month-long revamp, One-Ninety, the breezy, botanical modern Asian brasserie teases with its Asian twist on wholesome Provençal cuisine. Led by new culinary maestro Chef Kamarl John, the spotlight here is on the use of fresh Asian aromatics and spices to augment the best of the season’s freshest produce from sea to land. Signatures include Snapper Bouillabaisse with Spicy Daikon and Lemon Grass, Iberico Pork Presa with Star Anise, Pineapple Chutney and Celeriac Purée and Braised Wagyu Beef Short Ribs seasoned with a homemade spice paste of hand-blended turmeric, blue ginger, coriander and toasted coconut. Children below five years of age enjoy complimentary dining here too when dining with an adult.

Ensconced by palms, One-Ninety Bar beckons with the promise of a cocktail journey and an indulgence in artisanal spirits. Sip on house libations that extol the beauty of local produce, some even handpicked from our very own organic garden such as the Blue Hour Sour cocktail, made with the mesmerizing, colour-changing extract of the native Butterfly Pea plant, as a tribute to the 25-year journey with our island country.

The adjourning resort-style alfresco Terraza is perfect for unwinding with a classic in hand and weekend tete-a-tete over a tri-terraced Floral Afternoon Tea that intrigues with flora-infused treats, launched in end-May 2019. Delights include Yuzu Elderflower Meringue Tart, Candied Violet Macaron, Sakura Blossom Puff with Strawberry, Raspberry-Rose Mousse and Lavender and Vanilla Scones served with Strawberry-Rose Preserve and Devonshire Clotted Cream, perfectly complemented by a range of floral teas or a refreshing glass of Kir Royale.

Embodying the concept of “Xiang Le Zhu Yi,” or the principle of enjoyment and happiness, newly minted Michelin-starred restaurant Jiang-Nan Chun is not only evocative of the pastoral lifestyle of Jiang Nan region’s traditional river villages through its rustic décor, but also through its authentic Cantonese cuisine. Led by Executive Chinese Chef Tim Lam, signatures at this idyllic restaurant include the Mesquite wood-roasted Peking Duck served with caviar, double-boiled soups and handmade dim sum.
