Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University honors outstanding learners

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) recently organized an awarding ceremony to honour its learners from the Spring 2013-2014 and Fall 2014-2015 semesters. In total, 138 learners from the two semesters – 46 males and 92 females – were considered for the Dean’s List. From this group, 82 eminent learners were recognized and handed over certificates of appreciation and excellence personally by Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of  HBMSU, during a special recognition ceremony.

In his speech, Dr. Al Awar praised the efforts of the learners and their eagerness to achieve academic excellence. He further encouraged the learners to demonstrate a spirit of perseverance and to prepare themselves for work and life. Of the 138 learners, 101 were from HBMSU’s School of Business and Quality Management, 35 from the School of Health and Environmental Studies and two from the School of e-Education. The ceremony was attended by a group of senior officials at the university and the learners’ family members who praised their achievements.
