ALBAWABA - Famous internet sensation Neil the Seal is back in town to do what he does best: Destroying the traffic signs and cones in Tasmania, Australia, after spending most of his time feeding in the sea.
The 5-year-old mammoth has an impressive streak on social media, with over 1.5 million followers on TikTok, more than 100,00 followers on Instagram, and his own Wikipedia page! Neil's popularity stems from his carefree yet chaotic nature.
He is best known for destroying government-owned traffic control devices while occasionally lunging at cars. However, when it's time to take a break, Neil lies down wherever he wants, whether it's in the middle of the road or for a tan on the beach.

According to Elmundo America, authorities are concerned about Neil's size, as each year he returns bigger and heavier, with reports indicating that he currently weighs as much as a car. This raises safety concerns among followers who might get too close to Neil, leading to possible dangerous encounters.
Kris Carlyon from the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Tasmania previously stated during a press conference that Neil the Seal's fame is a "double-edged sword." He further urged locals to respect the seal and give him the space needed.
Carlyon added, "We have seen cases of people bringing their small babies very close to him, just trying to get the perfect Instagram photo, these are quite absurd behaviors."
